Rank #1 On Google For a 37K Keyword In 30 Days (No Backlinks)
This is an SEO case study of a freelancer SEO who bought one of my SEO services called “Viral Traffic” for his client’s brand new E-Commerce website and ranked it #1 on Google for a 37,000 searches/month keyword without building a single backlink
Like any other of my case studies, I won’t reveal the website and keywords for security and privacy reasons. But in this article, you will find some of my overview process of how I went about achieving the results, along with various screenshots as proof.
(Since I don’t have access to his client’s Google Search Console account, I can only show the result from Ahrefs and my own service dashboard)

Below you can see the site has 0 DR (Domain Rating) with all the links being spammy, auto-generated type

Project Background
My client is an SEO freelancer who has been using my cutting-edge service called viral traffic service regularly, and he bought a 30-day package for his client’s brand new E-Commerce website in the vaping/cigarette space. The main goal was to rank this website on page 1 of Google for the main keyword, which has over 37,000 searches/month, along with other relevant keywords.
Viral Traffic Service Explained
Viral traffic service is an SEO strategy where a significant amount of traffic is sent to the target URL in a short amount of time, mimicking the virality of the target URL and thus signaling to search engines like Google that the page has gone viral and that it should be ranked higher due to an increase in interest.
This is a less well-known SEO technique that is widely used among the elite SEOs, mainly in competitive industries such as igaming and gambling.
How Does It Work
The freelancer SEO client bought my 30-day viral traffic service for the website’s homepage after he built an E-Commerce website for his client and published topical pages on the site (pages belonging to the same topics, such as category pages, products, and blogs).
The continuous flow of traffic to the site signals Google to prioritize deeper crawling and processing of other SEO signals (such as the topical authority achieved by building out topical pages on the site), combining with the boosting effect of the viral traffic itself, together helped the site quickly climb up the ranking from nowhere to page 1 of Google.
Once it reached page 1 of the search results page, the target URL also received CTR signals, which further helped skyrocket it to #1.

How To Use Viral Traffic For SEO
This SEO strategy shouldn’t be used as a standalone thing to rank your website. It works mainly as an amplifier – amplifying the existing SEO signals/factors you already have. Hence, the more other SEO activities you do to your site, the better outcome you’ll get from using this service.
Here are some ways to use viral traffic as an add-on to your existing SEO strategy:
- For website ranking on pages 1-3 of Google, use this to boost your ranking up higher and get click signals (you can use it continuously or use periodically over a period of time)
- For new websites, use this continuously to quickly get your site out of Google Sandbox
- Send viral traffic to your backlink page to help amplify the backlink’s power.
- Use this strategy to index stubborn pages.
